About Dr Damavandi

Dr. Farnaz Damavandi is a general dentist who loves her practice of general dentistry and the opportunity that it provides in making healthy and beautiful smiles for her patients. Dr. Damavandi has 20 years of experience providing preventive and restorative dental care to her patients in Washington DC metropolitan area.

After graduating from Howard University's College of Dentistry in 1989, she received a year of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

She returned to Washington, DC area in 1990. Until 1998, she practiced general dentistry at several dentist offices and dental clinics. In 1998, she established her practice in Gaithersburg, MD where she has been providing quality dental care to the community. Dr. Damavandi is licensed to practice general dentistry in Maryland, DC and Virginia. She is up-to-date with latest advancements in dentistry through many courses and seminars she frequently attends.

Dr. Damavandi lives with her family in Montgomery County. She enjoys classical music, opera, reading and traveling.
